Our Story
Kurukshethra Prakashan was founded in 1992 in Ernakulam, Kerala, with a mission to preserve and propagate the rich literary heritage of India. What started as a small publishing house has grown into one of Kerala's most respected publishers, with over 800 titles spanning philosophy, literature, children's books, essays, poetry, and academic works.
Our name, "Kurukshethra," draws from the sacred battlefield of the Mahabharata — a place where truth, knowledge, and righteousness converge. We believe that books are the modern-day battlefield of ideas, where readers engage with wisdom across generations.
