Kurukshethra Books (Kurukshethra Prakasan PVT LTD) was established in the year 1992 at Ernakulam. From the humble beginning, it has now evolved into one of the prestigious literary publishing houses in Kerala with branches across Ernakulam, Trivandrum, Alleppey and Calicut. We’ve published over 800 books so far.
Achievements in 25 years…
Kurukshethra is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2017. We’ve received award for the best priting for ‘A History of Hindu Chemistry’ in Kottayam Darshana Pusthakolsavam.
Our range of books are mainly based on Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, Translations of Sangha literature, Life of renaissance leaders of Kerala and contemporary issues that call for deeper understanding and discussions.
We’ve been conducting Children’s Book Fest in 300 schools annually. Through mobile libraries, we’ve been delivering books to public from various genres including spiritual, religious and patriotic.
Kurukshethra books are available at over 200 stalls across Kerala. They are also available at our branches and various stalls under Devaswom Board.
Nanma Books, our sister concern, has published around 50 books including Lalithambika Antharjanam’s in Children’s genre.
Our Kaloor office has been a venue for various cultural gatherings. The ‘Nanma Vicharavedi’ has organised discussions and book publishing.
Our International Book Festival, that has gained popularity among various socio cultural circles, completes its 20 glorious years. It has already been listed among global literary festivals.
